About CAAVO
Goals
As an MHSAA Approved Association, we need to build on our reputation of having enrolled as members some of the area’s very best volleyball officials. We need to continue to disseminate information about our association to area schools and potential members.
- Further develop useful clinics and training sessions for our members, which emphasize mechanics used by the NCAA, the United States Volleyball Association, the Professional Association of Volleyball Officials, and the National Federation of High Schools.
- Enhance our online officiating availability notification system. Renew and strengthen our unique Mutual Understanding of Reciprocal Assistance with other Approved Associations with volleyball officials.
- Provide instruction and assistance for all our members wanting to maximize their earnings from officiating under the federal and state tax codes.
